Two recent changes in the team setting at the Institute for Strategy, Technology and Organization

Thorsten Grohsjean submitted his doctoral thesis in January. During his time at the Institute for Strategy, Technology and Organization (ISTO), he conducted several projects on strategy and organization as well as on applied industrial organization, especially in the video game industry. He was involved in teaching numerous courses, and was responsible for PR and finance at the Institute. Beginning in February, Thorsten will work as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Imperial College in London. We thank him for the time he spent with us, wish him all the best for his time in London and are looking forward to many joint projects in the future.

Pinar Kunt joined the ISTO team on February 1st. Pinar studied economics in Heidelberg. From 2007 to 2008 she spent time abroad at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. At the ISTO, she is planning research projects in the areas of industrial organization, competition policy and regulation, and on energy- and telecommunications markets. In the summer term 2011 she will be involved in the course "Management and Economics of Network Industries". We are very happy to welcome Pinar to the team!
